Virtual Public Meeting - Rural Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Yoakum District Revision 2019 - 2022

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Yoakum District will hold a virtual public meeting to present the revision of the 2019-2022 Rural Transportation Improvement Program (Rural TIP). Project staff will give a presentation regarding the revision to the Rural TIP. Comments may be received on or before Thursday, April 30, 2020, to be considered part of the official virtual public meeting record.
The revision of the Rural TIP on the proposed Transportation Alternative (TA) projectis in the city of Columbus. TxDOT is proposing to construct sidewalks consisting of roadway bump outs and ADA compliant parking spaces used along Martin Luther King St. from Rampart St. to Prairie St.
The Rural TIP meetings are being held pursuant to Title 43, Texas Administrative Code, Section 16.102, which calls for an opportunity for public comment concerning the program. A short presentation and exhibits showing the revision to the Rural TIP and the projects included will be displayed during the virtual public meeting.
TxDOT makes every reasonable effort to accommodate the needs of the public.
