Public Meeting - Rural Transportation Improvement Program

Purpose:

The purpose of the public meeting is to gather public input on the proposed 2019-2022 Rural Transportation Improvement Program. The meeting will be an open house format so residents can come and go at their convenience. Staff will be on hand to answer questions.

Description:

The Rural TIP is a listing of federally funded projects that will be constructed or implemented over the next four years throughout the district’s eight county area of Anderson, Cherokee, Gregg, Henderson, Rusk, Smith, Van Zandt and Wood counties. Maps and project listings will be available for review at the open house.

Special accommodations: TxDOT makes every reasonable effort to accommodate the needs of the public. The meeting will be in English. If you have a special communication accommodation or need for an interpreter, a request can be made. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can also be made to accommodate most needs. Please call (903) 510-9100 at least five working days prior to the meeting. Please be aware that advance notice is requested as some accommodations may require time for TxDOT to arrange.
