Purpose | As part of the draft 2023 UTP, TxDOT conducts a public meeting and a public hearing. The public meeting was conducted on July 7, 2022. A recording of the meeting and Q&A session is available below, along with the presentation slides with speaker notes. |
Description | TxDOT’s 10-year plan, the Unified Transportation Program (UTP), guides the development of projects around Texas. The UTP Fact Sheet (Hoja de Datos El Programa De Transporte Unificado) provides a summary of the program. Updated annually, TxDOT has been working with its transportation partners to identify projects to be included in the draft 2023 UTP. Public comments and feedback are very important in developing the plan. You can use the “Subscribe to Updates” button on the right to be notified of updates. |
Additional information | The 2023 UTP was presented at the June 23, 2022, Commission Meeting. 2022 Unified Transportation Program The 2022 UTP was adopted on August 30, 2021. Information about the 2022 UTP public involvement efforts are available online. The 2022 UTP public comment period was from July 9, 2021, through 4 p.m. CST on Aug. 9, 2021. Public comments were collected via mail, e-mail, phone, and an online comment form. |

Persons who have special communication or accommodation needs are encouraged to contact the Transportation Planning and Programming Division at 800-687-8108.
