Purpose:	A public meeting to solicit public comments and input to the FY 2012 June Out-of-Cycle (OOC) Revisions to the 2011-2014 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). The STIP is a mechanism used by TxDOT and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to fund projects for the next four years and includes all federally funded projects.
Description:	The Statewide Transportation Improvement Program: Reflects the federally funded transportation projects in the FY 2011–2014 Transportation Improvement Programs (TIPs) for each Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) in the state. Includes both state and federally funded projects for the nonattainment areas of Beaumont, Dallas–Fort Worth, El Paso, and Houston. Contains information on federally funded projects in rural areas that are not included in any MPO area, and other statewide programs as listed.
