In-person details Additionally, TxDOT is providing an in-person option for individuals who would like to participate in person instead of online. Purpose The purpose of the public meeting is to present the proposed project to the public and receive comments. The project is proposing to expand SH 123 from Cordova Rd. to I-10 in Guadalupe County, Texas. The virtual and in-person meeting will consist of the same narrated presentation by the project team, project exhibits and other information, and an opportunity to comment.
Description

The proposed SH 123 roadway would consist of two 12-foot-wide main lanes in each direction separated by a raised median, and five-foot-wide shoulders with six-foot sidewalks from Cordova Road to I-10. Within the project limits, SH 123 is typically a two-lane, undivided highway with one twelve-foot-wide travel lane in each direction and ten-foot-wide outside shoulders.

The typical right-of-way width is approximately 140 to 220 feet. Although additional right of way would be required, no residential or non-residential structures are anticipated to be displaced at this time. Information concerning services and benefits available to affected property owners and information about the tentative schedule for right-of-way acquisition and construction can be obtained by calling our public involvement consultant at 210-494-0088.

Accessibility TxDOT makes every reasonable effort to accommodate the needs of the public. The virtual public meeting presentation will be in English. If you have a special communication accommodation or need for an interpreter, a request can be made. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can also be made to accommodate most needs. Please call (210) 494-0088 no later than 4:00 p.m. on March 9, 2022, to request special accommodations. Please be aware that advance notice is requested as some accommodations may require time for TxDOT to arrange.
