Open House - FM 1516 from I-10 to FM 78

Purpose:
The purpose of this open house is to present proposed improvements to FM 1516 from I-10 to FM 78 in Converse, Bexar County, Texas.
Description:
Proposed improvements include:
- Expand FM 1516 from two-lanes to four-lanes with left turn lanes and raised medians
- Add dedicated bike lanes and sidewalks on both sides of FM 1516
- Drainage improvements – drainage ditches and underground storm sewer
- Proposed project would require additional right of way and utility adjustments

The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
