Purpose | TxDOT invites the public to attend an in person and virtual public meeting of TxDOT’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee. |
Description | TxDOT's Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) advises the Transportation Commission on bicycle and pedestrian issues to help ensure the bicyclist’s and pedestrian’s perspective will be considered in the development of departmental policies affecting bicycle use and pedestrian activity, including the design, construction, and maintenance of roadways. The BPAC is comprised of bicycle and pedestrian enthusiasts who represent various backgrounds and perspectives from across the state. Eleven members are selected by the Commission to serve voluntary, three-year terms. The Committee's meetings are open to the public. Meeting documents, including agendas and transcripts of previous meetings, are posted on TxDOT’s BPAC webpage. |
