Purpose:
The purpose of the meeting is to gather public input on proposed improvements to Loop 286 around Paris, TX, a total project length of approximately 15.5 miles. The meeting will be an open house format so the public may come and go at their convenience, and staff will be available to answer questions. Comments must be received by Friday, May 10, 2019, to be part of the official record.
Description:
The purpose of the study is to analyze potential roadway improvements for Loop 286. Improvements could require additional right of way to accommodate the project. Study data and maps showing roadway alignments options will be available for viewing at the public meeting.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
