Public Meeting - Littlefield Rural Transportation Improvement Program

Purpose:

The purpose of this meeting is to receive comments on the FY 2019-2022 Rural Transportation Improvement Program for the Lubbock District. The district includes Bailey, Castro, Cochran, Crosby, Dawson, Floyd, Gaines, Garza, Hale, Hockley, Lamb, Lubbock, Lynn, Parmer, Swisher, Terry and Yoakum counties. 

Description:

The RTIP is a staged multi-year program of projects proposed for funding by federal and state sources during the next four fiscal years. These meetings offer public officials and interested citizens an opportunity to comment on the RTIP, which will be incorporated into the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). All interested citizens are invited to attend these public meetings.

If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can also be made to accommodate most needs. Please call (806) 748-4490 at least two working days prior to the meeting. Please be aware that advance notice is requested as some accommodations may require time for TxDOT to arrange.

Comments must be received on or before Friday, May 4, 2018, to be a part of the official meeting record. 

The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
