Open House - IH-45 South (US 59 to Spur 5)

Purpose: An open house public meeting to present design and gather public input regarding proposed improvements to IH 45 South from US 59 to Spur 5.
Description: Proposed project consists of the following:
  • Alterations to the existing lane configurations including restriping of the existing shoulder to use the elevated facility as a US 59 connector
  • Construction of a new entrance ramp from Cullen Boulevard to IH 45 northbound
  • Construction of two new direct connectors from the elevated US 59 facility to northbound and southbound US 59
  • Approximately 2.08 acres of right-of-way would be required for the proposed improvements
