Public Meeting - SH 146

Where:	Clear Falls High School 4380 Village Way League City, TX 77573	When:	Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Purpose:	The purpose of the meeting is to gather public input on the proposed widening of SH 146 from FM 518 to FM 517 in Galveston County.

Description:	The proposed project includes the following improvements to decrease traffic congestion, increase mobility, improve hurricane evacuation, operational efficiency and safety along SH 146: Widen from a four-lane divided roadway to a six-lane divided roadway Construct a grade-separated intersection (elevated intersection) at SH 96 Total length of the project is approximately 5.1 miles The project would require additional right of way and some potential business displacements may occur. The public meeting will be held in an open house format to allow for one-on-one question and answer opportunities with TxDOT staff and the project team. The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
