Where: Wilson Elementary School (Map)
18015 Kieth Harrow Blvd.
Houston, TX 77094
When: Tuesday, July 12, 2016
5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Purpose: The purpose of the meeting is to gather public input and receive comments on the proposed SH 6 and Clay Road intersection improvements in Harris County, Texas.

Description: The proposed project is to develop alternatives to improve safety and relieve congestion at the SH 6 and Clay Road intersection. The study will evaluate no-build as well as consider developing build alternatives that include adding additional lanes at the intersection (all at-grade and not elevated).

The study will also evaluate other grade separating design options, such as potentially widening and/or elevating the through lanes or left-turn lanes to reduce the congestion at the SH 6 and Clay Road intersection. The build alternatives will also include pedestrian and bicycle accommodations. The proposed improvements will require additional right of way, but the amount has not yet been determined. The displacements as a result of the proposed project are also unknown at this time.
