Purpose The proposed improvements of the Horne St Streetscape Project is to design and construct improvements to enable safe, accessible, comfortable, and convenient access for all people and travel modes.
Description

The street segment is located in the Como neighborhood of Fort Worth, Texas, south of the I-30 and US-377 interchange, southwest of downtown Fort Worth. Possible improvements to the Horne Streetscape include expanding current two lanes to three lanes with center turn lane, traffic signal improvements, sidewalk, pedestrian and bike paths, on-street parking, landscaping, and pedestrian amenities. The outcome of the project will be developed through a collaborative process that will build upon the efforts of, and engage, the community at large, city staff, and elected officials.

Although additional right of way would be required, no residential or non-residential structures are anticipated to be displaced at this time.

Accessibility The public meeting will be conducted in English. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs. If you need interpretation or translation services or are a person with a disability who requires an accommodation to attend and participate in the public meeting, please contact the city of Fort Worth project manager, at 817-392-8022 no later than 4 p.m. CT, on August 2, 2022. Please be aware that advance notice is required as some services and accommodations may require time for the City to arrange.
