| Purpose | The proposed improvements of the Horne St Streetscape Project is to design and construct improvements to enable safe, accessible, comfortable, and convenient access for all people and travel modes. |
| Description | The street segment is located in the Como neighborhood of Fort Worth, Texas, south of the I-30 and US-377 interchange, southwest of downtown Fort Worth. Possible improvements to the Horne Streetscape include expanding current two lanes to three lanes with center turn lane, traffic signal improvements, sidewalk, pedestrian and bike paths, on-street parking, landscaping, and pedestrian amenities. The outcome of the project will be developed through a collaborative process that will build upon the efforts of, and engage, the community at large, city staff, and elected officials. Although additional right of way would be required, no residential or non-residential structures are anticipated to be displaced at this time. |
