Public Meeting - I-20/Campus Drive Westbound Entrance Ramp Relocation

Purpose:
The purpose of the meeting is to gather public input regarding a proposal to shift and reconstruct the westbound entrance ramp from Campus Drive to I-20 in Tarrant County. The meeting will be an open house format so the public may come and go at their convenience, and staff will be available to answer questions.
Description:
The proposed project would close the existing westbound entrance ramp from Campus Drive to I-20 and relocate it approximately 1,500 feet to the west of its current location in the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. The goal of the project is to facilitate access to westbound I-20 from the Department of Veterans Affairs – Fort Worth Outpatient Clinic without impacting traffic upstream and downstream of the ramp. The existing right-of-way width of westbound I-20 and the frontage road is 175 feet. No additional right-of-way would be required for the proposed project. The proposed project would not result in any residential or non-residential displacements.

The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
Comments must be received on or before Friday, Feb. 2, 2018, to be a part of the official meeting record.
