Marfa, TX 79843 (Map)
Wednesday, April 25, 2018
4 p.m. - 6 p.m.
The purpose of this meeting is to receive comments on the FY 2019-2022 Rural Transportation Improvement Program for the El Paso District. The district includes about 21,700 square miles covering six counties: El Paso, Hudspeth, Culberson, Jeff Davis, Presidio, and Brewster counties.
The RTIP is a staged multi-year program of projects proposed for funding by federal and state sources during the next four fiscal years. These meetings offer public officials and interested citizens an opportunity to comment on the RTIP, which will be incorporated into the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). All interested citizens are invited to attend these public meetings.
Special accommodations: The open house will be in English. TxDOT makes every reasonable effort to accommodate the needs of the public. If you need assistance, have a disability, or need for an interpreter, a request can be made to accommodate most needs. Please contact Jennifer Wright at (915) 790-4200 or via email at Jennifer.Wright3@txdot.gov at least five working days prior to the meeting. Please be aware an advance notice is requested as some accommodations may require time for TxDOT to arrange.
Comments must be received by May 12, 2018, to be a part of the official meeting record.
The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
