Public Hearing - I-30 from SH 161 to Belt Line Road

Where:	Ruthe Jackson Center 3113 S. Carrier Parkway Grand Prairie, TX 75052	When:	Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014 Open House: 6 p.m. Presentation: 7 p.m.

Purpose:	TxDOT is holding a public hearing to present the anticipated social, economic and environmental effects of the proposed project. Prior to the hearing, TxDOT will hold an open house at 6 p.m. to allow for questions and review of project exhibits.

Description:	Proposed improvements include the following: Construction of new frontage roads with one to two 11-foot wide travel lane(s), including one 14-foot wide outside shared-use lane for bicycles and 6-foot wide sidewalks for pedestrians Reconstruction and relocation of the existing eastbound and westbound entrance ramps to and from Belt Line Road Construction of eastbound and westbound exit ramps immediately west of Belt Line Road Reconstruction and reconfiguration of Palace Parkway to connect to the proposed westbound frontage road Approximately 4.4 acres of additional right of way and 0.2 acre for drainage easements would be required.
