| Purpose | TxDOT is proposing to reconstruct and widen FM 1378 from FM 3286 to West Lucas Road in Collin County, Texas. |
| Description | The proposed project consists of widening the existing two-lane undivided roadway to a four-lane divided roadway for a distance of approximately 0.9 mile. The improvements include two travel lanes in each direction divided by a curbed median to separate the eastbound and westbound lanes. The proposed typical right-of-way width would vary from approximately 130 feet to 140 feet, with additional right of way for turn lanes and drainage improvements. The proposed project would, subject to final design considerations, require additional right of way and potentially displace three residences and two non-residential structures. |
