TxDOT has created basic instructions in an effort to help the public understand the basics of participating in a virtual public meeting. Before viewing the video presentation, click on the link below to read through the instructions.

| Purpose | The purpose of this meeting is to provide information and receive comments on which transportation projects may be coming to your area. The Corpus Christi District includes Aransas, Bee, Goliad, Jim Wells, Karnes, Kleberg, Live Oak, Nueces, Refugio, and San Patricio counties. A presentation, materials for review, and an opportunity for comment will be available. |
| Description | The Rural TIP includes all regionally significant projects to be funded within a TxDOT District during the next four years, including those eligible for federal funding. As such, these meetings offer the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed priorities. A project in the Rural TIP is a project coming to your community. The Rural TIP is the first step on the road to producing a Statewide Transportation Improvement Program. The Rural TIP meetings are being held pursuant to Title 43, Texas Administrative Code, Section 16.102, which calls for an opportunity for public comment concerning the program. A short presentation and exhibits showing how the Rural TIP operates and the projects included in it will be displayed at the public meeting. All community members are encouraged to attend the virtual public meeting and provide written comments on the proposed program. Comments must be postmarked or otherwise received by Tuesday, June 7, 2022, to: TxDOT Corpus Christi District, Attn: Rural TIP; 1701 South Padre Island Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas 78416; or by email as described in the Notice. |

If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you.
