Purpose | TxDOT, in coordination with Lampasas, invites you to participate in a virtual open house with an in-person option to gain input about the Lampasas Relief Route Feasibility Study. This is the second open house for the project. TxDOT will present proposed conceptual route options in response to public feedback received at the first open house. |
Description | Currently, US 281, US 183, and US 190 traffic runs through the middle of Lampasas. The purpose of the relief route is to help reduce congestion, to improve safety, and to improve mobility. A key objective of the study is to allow future through traffic, including trucks, to avoid central Lampasas while minimizing impacts to adjacent properties, railroads, utilities, and the environment. During the feasibility phase, an estimated cost and right-of-way width will be determined. Construction timing is not yet known. |
Accessibility | The open house will be conducted in English. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English or Spanish is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs. If you need interpretation or translation services or you are a person with a disability who requires an accommodation to attend and participate in the virtual open house, please contact Lisa Tipton, at 325-643-0413 no later than 4 p.m. on Nov. 10, 2022. Please be aware that advance notice is required as some services and accommodations may require time for TxDOT to arrange. |
