Purpose | TxDOT conducted a stakeholder meeting for people within the Adamsville area. This meeting provided attendees the ability to view materials related to proposed routes in and around Adamsville, ask questions of TxDOT staff and/or consultants, and leave written comments. |
Description | The proposed project includes the following:
The purpose of the project is to improve mobility by constructing additional travel lanes and increase safety by bringing the roadway up to current design standards, separating northbound and southbound travel lanes with a grassy median and upgrading other safety appurtenances (guard rail, sloped culvert end treatments, wide shoulders, etc.). The project spans approximately 28 miles and will require additional right-of-way adjacent to the existing corridor (acreage to be determined pending final design); displacements may also be required but have not yet been identified. |
Accessibility | The materials which were available at the stakeholders meeting were conducted in English. If you need an interpreter or document translator for the online materials because English is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs. If you need interpretation or translation services or you are a person with a disability who requires accommodation to participate in the virtual stakeholders meeting, please contact TxDOT at 325-643-0413.
