Description: | The proposed project includes adding lanes on US 183 from US 290 to SH 71. The project being considered would have six tolled main lanes (three in each direction) and four to six non-tolled access road lanes (two to three in each direction). The purpose of the project is to improve safety and mobility because of the increase in the surrounding population, traffic volumes, and vehicle crashes. Approximately four acres of additional right of way and nine acres of easements would need to be acquired for the proposed improvements. The proposed project would not displace any residences or businesses. | ||
