Notice of Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) Available for Public Review for Kenney Fort Boulevard Segments 2 & 3

Purpose:

This notice advises the public that TxDOT has issued a finding of no significant impact (FONSI) for the proposed Kenney Fort Boulevard – Segments 2 and 3, and that the FONSI is available for public review.

Description:

The proposed project would extend Kenney Fort Boulevard from Forest Creek Drive to State Highway 45 in Williamson County, Texas.

The FONSI and approved final environmental assessment (EA) are on file and available for inspection Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at City of Round Rock Transportation Department, 3400 Sunrise Road, Round Rock, Texas (telephone: (512) 218-7044).  They are also available online on the Round Rock project website and on the TxDOT website.

Memorandum of Understanding:

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 9, 2019, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
