| Purpose | TxDOT is holding a public meeting to reintroduce the US 183 from SH 71 to SH 130 environmental study and gather public input on community priorities and concerns. |
| Description | TxDOT is conducting a study to explore improvements to US 183 from SH 71 to SH 130. The existing four-lane highway is divided from SH 71 to FM 812, and undivided from FM 812 to SH 130. Multiple neighborhoods, businesses and other structures are located along or close to the corridor, and the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is adjacent to the highway. TxDOT is proposing to widen and divide US 183 from SH 71 to SH 130 with community support to address congestion and make needed improvements. |
| Accessibility | The public meeting will be conducted in English and Spanish. Materials will be translated and there will be interpreters available throughout the meeting.
