Purpose:

TxDOT and the Amarillo Metropolitan Planning Organization are proposing improvements to SL 335 Segment C-1 from SW 9th Avenue to FM 1719 in Potter County, Texas. The purpose of the virtual public hearing is to gather public input. Project staff will give a presentation regarding the project which will include both audio and visual components.

Description:

The proposed 5.8-mile project will include:

  • Converting an existing two-lane roadway to a four-lane freeway facility with ramps
  • One-way frontage roads
  • Grade separations over intersecting cross streets and railroad
  • Bike and pedestrian accommodations

Although additional right-of-way would be required, no residential or non-residential structures are anticipated to be displaced at this time.

Special Accommodations:

TxDOT makes every reasonable effort to accommodate the needs of the public. This virtual public hearing will be conducted in English. If you have special communication or accommodation needs, or have a need for an interpreter, a request can be made. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can also be made to accommodate most needs. Please call (806) 356-3200 at least two working days prior to the meeting.
