Virtual public hearing details | The virtual public hearing presentation and hearing materials will be posted on this web page on Thursday, March 28, by 5 p.m. The virtual hearing will consist of a pre-recorded video presentation and will include audio and visual components. Following the virtual public hearing, the presentation will remain available for viewing on this webpage and comments must be submitted or postmarked by Friday, April 19, 2024, to be a part of the public hearing summary report. If you do not have internet access, you may call 806-356-3296 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, to ask questions and access project materials during the project development process. |
In-person open house details | Thursday, March 28, 2024 6 - 9 p.m. CT Diversity Church 5631 Pavillard Drive Amarillo, TX 79108 TxDOT is providing an in-person public hearing option for individuals who would like to participate in-person instead of online. In-person attendees will be able to view the same presentation delivered in the online public hearing, which will be playing on a screen; review hard copies of project materials; ask questions of TxDOT staff and/or consultants; and leave written comments. The in-person hearing will also offer an opportunity to provide verbal comments, up to three minutes, recorded by a court reporter. |
Description | TxDOT is proposing to improve an existing four-lane roadway along SL 335 to a four-lane divided roadway with ramps, four direct connectors planned as an ultimate connection to/from US 87 north of SL 335, one-way frontage roads, and grade separations over intersecting cross streets. TxDOT is also proposing to improve existing US 87 north and south of SL 335 as part of the transition work from the direct connector interchange with SL 335.
