Ultimate Project Environmental Studies

The $2.1 billion NTE (I-820 and SH 121/183) Project began in Oct. 2010 and reached substantial completion in October 2014 – nine months ahead of schedule.

The NTE 35W Project spans 17 miles of I-35W from I-30 to Eagle Parkway in Fort Worth. The project is designed to double capacity and reduce congestion by reconstructing portions of the existing lanes and adding TEXpress Lanes.
