Drive Safe Texas is a resource for safe driving in Texas. It offers a mobile friendly platform and provides a single source and extensive library of information on all safe driving topics. It is a resource for driving schools across the state. The library has a list of all contents and videos are downloadable.

We ask all drivers to do your part to be safe and drive smart. Practice patience and share the road with others. The life you save could be your own.

  • Remain alert at all times
  • Be courteous to others on the road
  • Obey speed limits, stop signs, and other traffic laws
  • Avoid distractions
  • Use extra caution when driving at night or in bad weather
  • Yield to pedestrians
  • Slow down around school zones and work zones
  • Never pass vehicles stopped at a crosswalk
  • If you’re too drowsy to drive, pull over safely and take a rest
  • Never drive under the influence of alcohol or other drugs
