Purpose:
The purpose of the meeting is to gather public input on proposed improvements between West Loop 250 and FM 1788. Improvements are also being proposed for the service roads. Maps of the area and other displays will be available for review and comment. TxDOT staff will be available to answer questions. The meeting will consist of an open house from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by a brief presentation and a question-and-answer session from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.. Comments must be received on or before Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019, to be a part of the official meeting record.
Description:
TxDOT proposes to improve a segment of the IH 20 corridor between Loop 250 and FM 1788, in Midland County, by constructing a new interchange at County Road (CR) 1250, constructing new ramps, and improving frontage roads. The purpose of the proposed project is to improve access to and from the industrialized area serviced by CR 1250, and reduce congestion.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
