Purpose:

The purpose of the public meeting is to solicit input on the access management study for FM 1960 from East Gatewick (just east of I-45) to BF 1960A (east of I-69). The meetings will be conducted in open-house format. Staff will be available to answer questions. Comments must be received on or before Friday, October 18, 2019, to be a part of the official meeting record. Please note an additional public meeting opportunity has been scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2019, at Humble High School. Information will be the same for both meetings.  

Description:

The purpose of access management is to provide vehicular access to land development in a manner that preserves the safety and efficiency of the transportation system. The FM 1960 study aims to identify short-, medium-, and long-range improvements to reduce crashes, improve mobility, and support existing and future development. 

Special Accommodations:

Materials for the public meeting will be available in English. Persons interested in attending the meeting who have special communication or accommodation needs, or require an interpreter, are encouraged to contact TxDOT’s Public Information Office at (713) 802-5077. Requests should be made at least two working days prior to the public meeting. TxDOT will make every reasonable effort to accommodate these needs.
