Purpose:

The purpose of the meeting is to present the roadway typical sections, alignment options, and solicit public comments on the proposed roadway options to FM 2449 from West of FM 156 to Future SL 288 in Denton County, Texas. The meeting will be an open house format with no formal presentation so the public may come and go at their convenience, and staff will be available to answer questions. Comments must be received on or before Friday, Jan. 24, 2020, to be a part of the official record.

Description:

TxDOT is conducting a feasibility study for improvements to FM 2449. The study is intended to analyze potential roadway options to improve FM 2449, including improving the existing alignment or utilizing new alignments. Alignment options could require additional right of way to accommodate the project. Comments must be received on or before Friday, Jan. 24, 2020, to be a part of the official record.

Memorandum of Understanding:

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 16, 2014, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and TxDOT.
