Purpose:
TxDOT is hosting an open house to solicit input regarding proposed improvements along US 83 from US 84 to Runnels County Line in Taylor County. The meeting will be in an open house format so the public may come and go at their convenience. TxDOT staff will be available to answer questions.
Description:
The purpose of the public meeting is to introduce the project to the public and obtain public input about the existing road and needed improvements. The purpose of the proposed project is to provide safety corridor improvements and address future congestion. Maps showing the proposed project's location will be available for review at the open house.

The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 16, 2014, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and TxDOT.
