Buy America
Buy America is a federal and state provision that requires products to be made in the United States of America. Buy America requirements pertaining to construction materials and manufactured products apply to all projects containing federal funds or associated with another project containing federal funds under the same NEPA clearance. Buy America requirements pertaining to iron or steel products apply to all projects both federally and state funded.
