Buy America
Federal Domestic Materials Program
The Federal Domestic Materials Program (FDMP), formerly referred to as Buy America/BABA, is a federal and state provision that requires products to be made in the United States of America. FDMP requirements pertaining to construction materials and manufactured products apply to all projects containing federal funds or associated with another project containing federal funds under the same NEPA clearance. FDMP requirements pertaining to iron or steel products apply to all projects both federally and state funded.
