Connecting Career Pathways Program
TxDOT has designed the Connecting Career Pathways (CCP) Program to introduce and integrate transportation infrastructure awareness and career exploration activities and experiences in K-12 classrooms. Through innovative and interactive initiatives, this program will connect current curriculum and skill-building to pathways into the industry.
CCP aims to collaborate with educators and educational stakeholders to:
- Promote and support awareness of transportation-related careers and post-secondary education pathways to increase visibility and understanding.
- Increase the availability of exploration activities, curriculum, programs of study, and interactive learning experiences for students at all levels of learning while decreasing barriers to access and retention.
