CR 177 Bridge at I-20 to close for repair

Monday, September 15, TxDOT’s contractor will close CR 177 at I-20 to make repairs to the bridge.

Crews will work from the underside of the bridge for approximately four days, weather permitting. Work requires the westbound travel lane (outside lane) of I-20 to be closed during this time.

Signs indicating the detour route for CR 177 will be posted. Motorists will be detoured eastbound, along the I-20 service road to CR 190, to cross I-20, then back to the service road to travel westbound to CR 177 while work is being performed.

Motorists are asked to utilize caution in and near this work zone, avoid distractions and watch for crews and equipment.
