Chief of Staff

Katelyn Dwyer serves as Chief of Staff, advising and providing direction on the implementation of TxDOT programs and policy, leading strategic initiatives, and overseeing and providing guidance to support the Texas Transportation Commission.

Prior to being named Chief of Staff, Dwyer served in various roles at TxDOT including, Deputy Chief of Staff and Director of Commission Support. Before joining TxDOT in 2018, she worked for the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) in Washington, DC.

She has a bachelor’s degree in nutrition from California Polytechnic State University- San Luis Obispo and a master’s degree in public administration from American University.
