What is a PEL Study?
The PEL study is a high-level early stage planning study. The purpose of the SH 225 and I-610 East PEL Study is to:
- Analyze the existing and projected transportation needs within the corridor.
- Create a corridor vision through public and stakeholder engagement.
- Develop the universe of alternatives.
- Identify the recommended solutions.
TxDOT is committed to working closely with the community on this study. Public meetings are intended to present information and gather feedback from the community.
Stakeholder and Agency Meetings
The study team is meeting with stakeholders, elected officials, community leaders, agencies and industry representatives on a regular basis. Ongoing stakeholder and agency coordination will continue throughout the study timeline.
