SH 130 improvements

State Highway 130 is a tolled roadway that runs from SH 45 SE in Travis County to I-35 in Williamson County. TxDOT currently has two improvement projects planned in North Travis and Williamson counties: the SH 130/SH 45 N Improvement Project and the SH 130 at Gattis School Road Improvement Project. SH 130/SH 45 N Improvement Project

Overview

TxDOT is planning to improve 16 miles of SH 130 from I-35 to RM 685 and four miles of SH 45 N from A.W. Grimes to SH 130 in Travis and Williamson counties. The project will:

  • Add a lane to northbound and southbound SH 130 in the median
  • Construct a third lane for eastbound SH 45 N

No new right of way is required for the project.

SH 130 at Gattis School Road Improvement Project

Overview

TxDOT, in coordination with Williamson County and local partners, is proposing improvements at the SH 130 at Gattis School Road intersection to improve safety and mobility in a rapidly growing area of Williamson County. The proposed improvements will:

  • Convert the Gattis School Road intersection into a diverging diamond interchange (DDI).
  • Add new entrance/exit ramps and bypass lanes.
  • Enhance pedestrian accommodations.

No new right of way is required for the project.
