Where:

Visit the virtual public meeting room at the link below from Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021, at 5 p.m. through Wednesday, March 3, 2021.

When:

Tuesday, March 2, 2021 -
Wednesday, March 17, 2021

Purpose:

The purpose of the virtual public meeting is to present the proposed project to the public and receive comments on the expansion of Talley Road from Wiseman Boulevard to Tamaron Pass in Bexar County, Texas. The virtual meeting will consist of a narrated presentation by the project team, project exhibits and other information, and an opportunity to comment. Comments must be received, or post marked on or before Wednesday, March 17, 2021, to be part of the virtual public meeting record.

Description:

The proposed project would upgrade approximately 2.4 miles of Talley Road to meet current design standards and accommodate increased traffic in the area from Wiseman Boulevard to Tamaron Pass. Specifically, the improvement include:

  • Upgrading to two 15-foot wide shared use lanes
  • Upgrading to two 11-foot wide travel lanes
  • Creating one continuous 14-foot wide left turn lane
  • Adding five-foot sidewalks along the sides of the roadway
  • Drainage improvements

This portion of Talley Road will match the Talley Road Phase I footprint currently under construction. Although additional right of way would be required, no residential or non-residential structures are anticipated to be displaced at this time.

Special Accommodation:

The virtual public meeting will be available in English. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs.
