Description TxDOT is proposing improvements to an approximately seven-mile long segment of US 181 from Palm Park Blvd to Eagle Creek Ranch Blvd in San Antonio, Bexar and Wilson Counties.
Purpose The purpose of the proposed project is to improve safety for vehicular traffic and reduce the conflict points where crashes are most likely to happen. The roadway currently consists of two lanes in each direction separated by a grassy median with crossovers at several cross streets. TxDOT proposes to close the crossovers and install unsignalized U-turn lanes. All improvements would be constructed within the existing right of way.
Accessibility The open house will be conducted in English. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs. If you need interpretation or translation services or you are a person with a disability who requires an accommodation to attend and participate in the open house, please contact the Project Consultant, 210-463-4402 no later than 4 p.m. CT, Monday, July 29, 2024. Please be aware that advance notice is required as some services and accommodations may require time for the Texas Department of Transportation to arrange.
