| Description | TxDOT is proposing safety improvements to Spur 421 (Bandera Road) from Evers Road to Cincinnati Avenue in San Antonio, Bexar County, a length of approximately three miles. The purpose of the proposed project is to improve safety for pedestrians, bicyclists and vehicular traffic; reduce the conflict points where crashes are most likely to happen; and improve how people travel through the project area. The roadway currently consists of three through lanes in each direction with a two-way center left turn lane. TxDOT proposes to add a new raised center median along the corridor with directional median openings at select locations. All improvements would be constructed within existing right of way. |
| Purpose | TxDOT is hosting an Open House where attendees will be able to review hard copies of project materials, ask questions of TxDOT staff and consultants and leave written comments. |
