| Virtual details | The virtual meeting will consist of a pre-recorded video presentation and will include both audio and visual components. The presentation will be posted online by Aug. 25, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. and will remain available for at least 15 days. If you do not have internet access, you may call 832-409-4588 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, to ask questions and access project materials during the project development process. |
| Open house details | The in-person option will be held in an open house format. Attendees will be able to view the same presentation delivered in the online public meeting, review project materials, ask questions of TxDOT staff and consultants and leave written comments. The in-person meeting will be held: Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2026 Members of the public are invited to attend the meeting, review available project information, speak with project representatives and provide input as the public involvement process continues. Attendees may come and go at their convenience during the posted meeting hours. |
| Purpose | The project is evaluating potential grade separation improvements at the Union Pacific Railroad at-grade crossings at Little York Road and Tidwell Road adjacent to Hirsch Road. |
| Description | The purpose of the project is to improve safety, mobility and connectivity in the project area. Information presented at this meeting will include results of the alternative analysis, a recommended alternative, and refined design concepts. Additional information will be shared regarding potential right-of-way needs, property impacts and how public input received to date has been considered. All information is preliminary and subject to change. |
