Purpose | These regional workshops provide an opportunity to learn about rural public transportation for seniors and individuals with disabilities from local transit providers at the following counties: Angelina, Brazos, Burleson, Freestone, Grimes, Houston, Leon, Madison, Milam, Nacogdoches, Polk, Robertson, Sabine, San Augustine, San Jacinto, Shelby, Trinity, Walker and Washington. |
Description | Provide federal funds to public and private nonprofit entities for the transportation of elderly individuals and/or individuals with disabilities. Grants are for capital equipment, preventive maintenance, and purchase of service only. |
Accesibility | The virtual workshop will be conducted in English.
