| Purpose | The purpose of the public meeting is to gather public input on the proposed improvements to Nolana Avenue, and to allow the public the opportunity to view project related information and provide comments on the proposed improvements. The presentation content will be the same for both the in-person and virtual meetings. |
| Description | The City of McAllen in cooperation with TxDOT, are proposing to widen the existing roadway 14.5 feet to each side for an ultimate 91-foot-wide face to face urban facility consisting of six-12-foot-wide travel lanes, a 14-foot-wide concrete raised median, a six-foot-wide sidewalk on the south side and a 10-foot-wide shared-use path on the north side within an existing 120-foot-wide right of way (ROW). The project length is one mile. No new ROW or easements are required. The project is within the City of McAllen, in Hidalgo County. |
