| Purpose | TxDOT Paris District will conduct a virtual public meeting on the Rural Transportation Improvement Program 2025-2028 November Revision to provide information and receive comments on five transportation projects in Lamar County. All community members are encouraged to participate through the virtual public meeting and provide written comments on the proposed revisions. |
| Description | The Rural TIP includes all added capacity and regionally significant projects to be funded within a TxDOT District during the next four years, including those eligible for federal funding. As such, this meeting offers the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed priorities. The Rural TIP is the first step on the road to producing a Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). The Rural TIP meetings are being held pursuant to Title 43, Texas Administrative Code, Section 16.102, which calls for an opportunity for public comment concerning the Rural TIP. A short presentation, exhibits explaining how the Rural TIP operates, and projects that are included in it will be available to view during the virtual public meeting. |
