Public Hearing - FM 1788

5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Purpose: The purpose of the public hearing is to gather input and answer questions on the proposed project to widen 5.5 miles of FM 1788. Design drawings, environmental documentation and other information will be available at the meeting. TxDOT staff members will be on hand answer questions. Verbal and written comments may be presented at the hearing or submitted 10 business days after the hearing.
Description: The project is needed because of inadequate roadway capacity for current and projected traffic demands. The proposed project would:
  • Widen FM 1788 from two to five lanes from State Highway (SH) 191 to SH 349
  • Widen FM 1788 from two to three lanes from SH 349 to north of SH 158
