Public Hearing - FM 307

Where:	Greenwood High School Cafeteria 2700 FM 1379 Midland, TX 79706	When:	Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014 Open House: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Presentation: 6 p.m.

Purpose:	The purpose of the public hearing is to present information and gather input regarding a proposed project to repave FM 307 and re-stripe the lane configuration from three lanes to five lanes, from County Road 1150 to Farm-to-Market 1379.

Description:	The proposed 7.1-mile project is needed to address deteriorating pavement conditions and mixed traffic use as a result of increased oil and gas activity and traffic. The project will not require new right of way; existing right of way width is 100 feet. Benefits of the project include: Increased safety and an enhanced roadway Improved roadway designed to meet anticipated truck loads Additional lanes to facilitate mixed traffic use The public is encouraged to attend this meeting and provide comments. Deadline for written comments is 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014.
