Presentation: 6 p.m.
Purpose: The purpose of the public hearing is to present information and gather input regarding a proposed project to repave FM 307 and re-stripe the lane configuration from three lanes to five lanes, from County Road 1150 to Farm-to-Market 1379.
Description: The proposed 7.1-mile project is needed to address deteriorating pavement conditions and mixed traffic use as a result of increased oil and gas activity and traffic. The project will not require new right of way; existing right of way width is 100 feet.

Benefits of the project include:

  • Increased safety and an enhanced roadway
  • Improved roadway designed to meet anticipated truck loads
  • Additional lanes to facilitate mixed traffic use

The public is encouraged to attend this meeting and provide comments. Deadline for written comments is 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014.
