I-20 Operational Improvements in Stanton

TxDOT is proposing operational improvements to I-20, within the limits described above, which would include the conversion of frontage roads from two-way to one-way operation, as well as the reconfiguration of the I-20 and Business I-20 East interchange so that I-20 would cross over Business I-20 East. The ramps on the north frontage road between SH 137 and Business I-20 East would be reversed so that the exit ramp would be near Business I-20 East and the entrance ramp would be near SH 137, and U-turns would be added under each overpass (at SH 137, Business I-20 West and Business I-20 East). The improvements would be constructed entirely within existing TxDOT right of way.

Any environmental documentation or studies, maps and drawings showing the project location and design, tentative construction schedules, and other information regarding the proposed project are on file and available for inspection Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the TxDOT Odessa District Office located at 3901 E. Hwy. 80, Odessa, TX 79761 and will be made available on this page under "Meeting materials" on the date and time listed above.

The virtual public meeting will be conducted in English. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you.
