Public Meeting - FM 1488

Where:	Magnolia West High School 42202 FM 1774 Magnolia, TX 77354	When:	Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Purpose:	The purpose of the meeting is to gather public input on the proposed relief route on the north side of Magnolia in Montgomery County.

Description:	The proposed project would construct a four-lane divided roadway on new location around the north side of Magnolia from the proposed SH 249 to existing FM 1488, west of Magnolia. The total length of the project is approximately five miles Additional right of way is anticipated, which may result in the displacement of residences and businesses The purpose of the proposed project is to improve safety, decrease traffic congestion and increase mobility along FM 1488 within the City of Magnolia. The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
