Open House - FM 518 Brazoria County

Where:	Jamison Junior High School 2506 Woody Road Pearland, TX 77581	When:	Thursday, May 14, 2015 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Purpose:	TxDOT is hosting a public meeting to provide information about the proposed widening of FM 518 from SH 288 to SH 35 for approximately six miles in Brazoria County. No formal presentation is planned. Interested citizens may come and go at their convenience.

Description:	Proposed improvements include: Adding one additional lane in each direction (from four to six) Adding a raised median The project is expected to ease congestion. The project would potentially require additional right of way and relocations but will be determined at a later date during the design process The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 16, 2014, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and TxDOT.
