Purpose:

The purpose of the virtual public meeting is to present the proposed project to the public and receive comments. The project proposes improvements on FM 2920 from I-45 to North Willow St. in Harris County, Texas. The virtual meeting will consist of a narrated presentation by the project team, project exhibits and other information, and an opportunity to comment. Comments must be received on or before Wednesday, May 12, 2021, to be a part of the official meeting record.

Description:

The proposed project extends a total of 11.1 miles along FM 2920 from I-45 to North Willow Street in Harris County. The proposed project includes the installation of continuous raised medians and right turn lanes. The continuous raised medians would only be installed from west of SH 99 to west of I-45. The project would take place within the existing right-of-way on FM 2920 and no displacements are anticipated.

Memorandum of Understanding:

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 9, 2019, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
